Curse Trump and the whole G.O.P.
And I loved all eight years Obama
Oh his message of change spoke to me
And sure Bernie's right about most things

Can’t the rich take their hands off of congress?
The coal tycoons should step aside
The Koch brothers stoked my frustration
Hell, I chuckled when one of them died
But Bezos made one small donation
So I’m still using Amazon Prime

I’m mad that we’re closing our borders
No amnesty granted these days
We cannot detain immigrant families
And hold them unfree in a cage
But prisons exist to hold criminals
And I feel a lot safer that way.

I hate Neo-Nazis and Klansmen
I hate all the things that they say
I hate how our Senate defends them
And pretends what they do is okay
But when cops commit war crimes at protests
I’m hoping they shoot at your legs.

And sure once I was young and impulsive
I wore every conceivable pin
Even went to some socialist meetings
Yeah I learned all the old union hymns
But oh I've grown older and wiser
and that's why I'm turning you in
